Response to Instruction & Intervention (RTI2)
SUPPORT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
CENTER
The Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Technical Assistance Center provides training and technical assistance for the implementation of Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) systems. Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) is a decision-making framework that guides selection, integration and implementation of the best evidence-based academic and behavioral practices for improving important academic and behavior outcomes for all students. It blends systematic and engaging assessment, instruction and school-classroom-parent communication to relentlessly improve student learning.

TRAINING
Building and Sustaining a Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) System.
Training is provided over a three-year period and includes professional development sessions, design and planning time, and on-site technical assistance for each tier of support. To participate, schools and districts must commit site and district teams and identify behavior and/or instructional support coaches. Extensive training is provided in:
- Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- School-wide Reading Support
- Professional Learning Communities
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Our staff is available to assist with specific site or district areas of need in the design, implementation, or evaluation of systems, programs and practices related to (RTI2). This includes serving as a critical partner on board presentations, cabinet discussions, and district committees. Using research based tools and performance measures we can assist in determining site and district readiness and ability for capacity building.
